Galfa GmbH & Co. KG.

Applicator spotlight

In this issue’s applicator spotlight, we focus on Galfa GmbH & Co. KG., which has been approved as a ZinKlad 72 applicator for the phosphating of fasteners.

Galfa is the first ZinKlad 72 approved applicator in Germany. Based in the Brandenburg area, Finsterwalde, Galfa employs more than 230 people in Germany and Poland. For more information about Galfa GmbH & Co. KG.

Dongfeng Nissan approves ZinKlad applicators in China

REACh compliant coatings to meet cyclic corrosion testing

In our last ZinKlad newsletter, we informed you that Ford Fastener Engineering has begun updating the Ford material standards for fastener finishes with cyclic corrosion test method L-467. This will be replacing salt spray testing to align the laboratory test with the total vehicle test Ford implemented in 2008.
